A collection of gold coins believed to have been hidden 900 years ago has been discovered by archaeologists in the ancient Israeli port city of Caesarea.
The store of 24 coins seems to have been covered up by somebody who would have liked to recover it, yet stayed away forever.
Archeologists say the proprietor may have kicked the bucket when the city's occupants were slaughtered by a Crusader armed force in 1101.
