Alliance powers led "accuracy strikes" on Sunday against IS pioneers in south-east Syria, including Umarayn, the US military said.

The aggressor was accepted to be in charge of decapitating US help specialist Abdul-Rahman Kassig in November 2014.

The previous US Army Ranger was known as Peter before changing over to Islam.

US Central Command (Centcom) affirmed on Monday that "few" individuals from IS were killed in Syria's Badiyah Desert.

Centcom singled out Umarayn for "representing an impending risk to alliance powers" and said he was "engaged with the slaughtering of American native and previous US Army Ranger, Peter Kassig" and a few other Western prisoners.

The 26-year-old founded a humanitarian organisation in 2012 to help refugees who had fled from Syria.
